Mac OS Setup for 

Please note: (kvvi.net is 2 v's not a w and everything is done in lower case)

1. In the Control Panel, double click on the MacTCP icon.

2. In the MacTCP window, click on PPP and click 0n More…..

3. In the settings window that appears, set Class to C. Set the first Domain to kvvi.net with an IP address of 208.20.66.1. Select default to the first domain. The second domain should also be set to kvvi.net with an IP address of 208.20.66.2. Click OK when finished.

4. In the Control Panel, Double click on the Configure PPP or MacPPP icon.

5. In the Config PPP window, click on New….Enter kvvi.net as the PPP server and click OK. Now click on Config…..

6. In the window that appears, set Port Speed to four times the speed of your modem. Set Flow Control to CTS & RTS (DTR). Set Phone num to ______________.

7. Click on LCP Options….On the LCP Options screen, check Want under Remote on the Authentication (PAP) line. Click OK.

8. Click Authentication…. On the authentication screen, enter username for Auth. ID and *********** for Password. (The ones that were assigned to you when you activated your account.)

9. Click Done.

10. To connect to kvvi.net, click Open on the main Config PPP screen to make the connection and then open the Internet software that you want to use.

SMTP (mail.kvvi.net)

POP3 (mail.kvvi.net)
