The local American Legion Chapter, Marcy Post #1312, meets
every other month at the KV Firehouse. Currently, there are 37 active
members. It organizes the Veterans Memorial Day ceremony at Norton Cemetery
and participates in veteran interment services when requested. Special to
Marcy Post is a commitment to the community through funding a scholarship to
a deserving KCS student to help defray the cost of college textbooks and
