Cheryl Olson,
Director of Development
National Organization: |
Since 1988, High Peaks Hospice and Palliative Care has helped more than 5000 residents of the North Country, including friends and family in Town, by preserving the dignity of the terminally ill, enhancing the quality of life and providing comfort and care to patients and their families. Hospice enables them to live their lives to the fullest to the very end in the location of their choosing. Over 250 volunteers
provide in-home support and respite to patients and their families as well
as providing administrative and fundraising support. Because they provide
services regardless of ability to pay, and Medicare, Medicaid and insurance
reimbursements are below costs, financial support from communities they
serve is vital. They host fund-raising events and two mail appeals a year.
Checks can be sent to Cheryl Olson in the Essex County Office. If you wish
