For more than 180 years the church has provided a
faith home for year around and seasonal residents of the region and a way
station for sojourners seeking a place to worship.
It has well over 200
members and recently completed a very successful capital campaign.
They welcome people no
matter who they are, or where they are on life’s journey.
They do not presume to tell you what you must
believe, but try to act as a community of free inquiry, searching and
sharing the experience of faith, asking only that you do the same.
All aspects of the church are managed by the
Congregation through a series of quarterly Congregational Meetings.
This model asks each person to select where and when they will serve,
and encourages people to share their gifts and talents in areas that bring
them life.
