The Samaritan Institute's website: |
Many lives have been touched by the Samaritan Family Counseling Center (SFCC) since it opened in 1980. But much work is yet to be done. Social isolation, domestic abuse, and lack of family and community support place many spouses, parents and children at risk. Youth today are confronted with drugs, alcohol, sexual exploitation and bullying the likes of which many of us cannot imagine. Through offices like the one in Keene they help people with these and other problems. SFCC is funded through client self-payment, mental health insurance benefits, grants and donations. Your donation will help extend services to more people who cannot afford to pay, especially when long-term issues like an eating disorder, or alcohol or drug addiction are involved. Over 200 individuals use Samaritan, which provides 3000 hours of services annually. They need your help to enhance and expand their work. Donations can be allocated to the Helping Hands Fund, their endowment, staff training, capital improvements and technological/operational assistance. |
