During the last weekend of April, 2003 we attended Merlefest, a bluegrass festival dedicated to the memory of the late Eddy Merle Watson, son of legendary flat pick guitar player Doc Watson.  What follows is an account of this wonderful musical experience as well as a series of links to the festival itself and major performers we particularly enjoyed.
